OM222 Pulveriser for Mineral Samples – Ring Mill

The OM222 pulveriser (ring mill) has been designed to rapidly pulverise rock and mineral samples from 200 to 1500g down to -75µm.

It uses a powerful 2.2kW motor and shaft driven design to maximise motor life. For ease-of-use, it features a pneumatic clamping mechanism and can be ordered in either goose neck or bridge configurations to suit your specific requirements.

The system in enclosed in a metal cabinet with reinforced subframe to ensure longevity. Removable panels on all sides have been included to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.

The chamber lid opens wide for optimal user access. Gas struts assist with opening and holding the lid in place while loading and unloading the head/bowl.

Orbis offer a range of pulveriser bowls to suit your application. These come in a range of sizes from 125cc to 2000cc. They are available in compositions including:
