AXT Appointed Distributor for the Surface Analysis and Microanalysis Products of Thermo Fisher Scientific in Australia and New Zealand
AXT Pty Ltd, a leading Australian supplier of high technology analytical solutions for industry and academia is proud to announce their association with Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, with revenues in excess of US$ 17 billion. AXT and the Nano-scale Materials Analysis product lines of Thermo Fisher Scientific recently signed a distribution agreement whereby AXT has become their distributor In Australia and New Zealand for its Surface Analysis and Microanalysis product lines, covering both sales and service.
The Nano-scale Materials Analysis product lines of Thermo Fisher Scientific manufacture a range of Surface Analysis and Microanalysis products. The Surface Analysis product line is based in East Grinstead, UK, and includes a range of XPS (X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) models: Thermo ScientificTM K-AlphaTM+, Thermo ScientificTM ESCALABTM 250Xi and the Thermo ScientificTM Theta Probe. These systems are suited to the analysis of the most complex surfaces, thin films and interfaces. They will help analytical researchers advance their understanding of their surface quickly and efficiently with their class leading technology and intuitive, user-friendly, yet powerful software packages. Their high sample throughput rates also makes them suited to both production and applications and academic research.
The Microanalysis Product line is based in Madison, Wisconsin, US, and manufactures a range a range of microanalysis solutions for electron microscopy. These include world class EDS/WDS spectroscopy and EBSD solutions. In particular, the Thermo ScientificTM NORAN System 7TM is the product of over 40 years of experience providing accurate results in just seconds thanks to the highest sensitivity x-ray detectors and sophisticated software. These microanalysis solutions are available as fitments to new systems, or can be retrofitted to existing SEMs.
